#82  CC's Brown Cherry Ale
7 lbs Pilsner Malt
1 lb Crystal 80L
1 lb Special Roast Malt
3/4 lb Crystal 120L
2 oz Pale Chocolate Malt
1 can Oregon Cherry Puree
7/8 oz Kent Goldings pellet hops (5%AA)(60 min)
1 liter starter Windsor Ale Yeast
- Strike crushed grains with 15 quarts 167F water.  Hold 153F for 1 hour.
- Sparge to 7.5 gallons.
- Boil one hour, hopping as indicated.
- Chill wort, then pitch yeast.
- Brewed 26 April 2009.  OG: 1.053 (80% eff)
- Racked onto cherries 11 May 2009.
- Racked 29 May 2009.
- Kegged 20 June 2009.
